Letters received by Clarence Smith concerning two separate issues: proposed legislation to legalize the playing of major league baseball games and the showing of motion pictures on Sunday; and proposed legislation of the construction of a vehicular tunnel under the Hudson River between New York and New Jersey. Letters concerning the Sunday baseball and motion picture issue were written by constituents, most of whom opposed the bills.
